Também andei a trocar as borrachas das folhas da suspensão traseira. tinha comprado um conjunto novo, mas os olhos traseiros da folha não cabiam (era para o KE20 que partinha suspensão identica... pensava eu que era igual :P).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Eixo, suspensão e molas ao sítio. Eu bem avisei o mecânico que ele estava a montar mal, mas "ele é que sabia". Da ultima vez que lá passei já tinha as portas, capot e tampa da mala emparelhadas, e estava a betumar a carroçaria. Entretanto tive a preparar toda a suspensão traseira e frontal para poder ser montada no carro, de modo a que depois o carro venha já com isso montado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Não tive tempo para pintar as molas frontais e amortecedores. O motor anterior era vermelho (era um 3K-B, e se não me engano esse bloco foi sempre pintado de vermelho). Pode ser que apareça outro projeto, um que dê menos trabalho.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Também estou a ver se troco o motor do 'Rolla. Neste momento tenho 2 motors 3K lá em casa. o Do carro é um 3K-B (2 carburadores), mas estou a ver se deito as mãos a um motor 4K. Para quem não sabe esses motores são proveniente de Starlets KP61 e KP62, (os modelos 1.3s) bem como dos Corollas KE70 (os vulgos Corolla DX de 8 válvulas).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Este motor é "troca directa" com o outro, cabeça igual, pistos iguais e bloco "quase igual". Pode usar a mesma caixa, distribuição, admissão e colectores. No caso do pilar preocupei-me em furar os pontos de solda com brocas específicas para essa função. Como não as encontrei à venda cá em Portugal mandei-as vir dos Estados unidos (ficaram-me em cerca de 30€ 4 brocas duplas (o que equivale a 8 brocas). Para soldar a embaladeira, imitei a soldadura de pontos que a original já trazia. Como não tinha máquina para soldar por pontos, fiz furos na chapa com espaçamentos de 3cm utilizando uma broca HSS (tamanho 5,5). Como pretendo reutilizar muitas dessas peças, as mesmas necessitam de limpeza e protecção contra a ferrugem. Então decidi limpar as peças por electrólise. Enquanto as peças esperam pela limpeza, estão já penduradas e separadas por zonas específias. Estive a pensar em colocar-lhe umas jantes especiais da época. Após muitos anúncios lá consegui encontrar umas que gostasse.&lt;br /&gt;Então avancei para a compra de 2 conjuntos de jantes. Desta vez ando armado em bate-chapas soldador.&lt;br /&gt;Comprei uma maquinazita baratuxa de soldar, uma MIG sem gás, que vi à venda no Leroy Merlin conjuntamente com uma máscara automática (espectáculo, hein) e as luvinhas da praxe para não me queimar.&lt;br /&gt;De seguida procurei informações que me ajudassem a aprender a soldar e fui treinando.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Actualmente estou a cortar e soldar a chapa podre na bagageira do veículo, mais precisamente o rebordo ba bagageira (aquele rebordo que depois leva uma borracha em toda a volta para depois a tampa da mala acentar).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Também já cortei e tapei 2 buracos na chapa lateral do carro, tipo isto. Depois levou primário anti-ferrugem, e depois de seco levou betume de enchimento. De seguida foi tuo bem lixado e piontado de novo. E este é o resultado. Os plásticos estão somente a tapar os carburadores, para não entrar lixo para dentro deles. A ver vamos.
